Dear Friends,

As an epilepsy specialist, I am confronted daily with the toll that seizures take on the lives of my patients. Epilepsy and seizures are responsible for missed school and work days, restriction of activities that a number of us take for granted, and the feeling of helplessness that these factors can create. Additionally, uncontrolled seizures can result in the progressive loss of brain function over time, and can be fatal in certain individuals.

At Midwest Regional Epilepsy Associates, our goal is to utilize the latest diagnostic and treatment methods available to make our patients seizure free. Also, we aim to provide information about support groups, social work options, and community services that are available for individuals with epilepsy. It is my sincere goal for MREA to be a comprehensive resource for all epilepsy related issues for our patients.
