Meet Dr. Madhavan

Dr. Madhavan attended medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and completed neurology residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He then performed a two-year epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology fellowship at New York University, one of the largest comprehensive epilepsy centers in the country.

While at NYU, Dr. Madhavan was awarded the Epilepsy Foundation Research and Training Fellowship for Clinicians, which allowed him to participate in cutting edge epilepsy research while broadening his skills in the analysis of intraoperative EEG, epilepsy surgery, and magnetoencephalography.

Dr. Madhavan’s clinical background and philosophy revolve around offering patients the most advanced and effective medical or surgical care for their seizures. His research interests focus on the contribution of various neuroimaging techniques to the diagnosis and surgical treatment of epilepsy, and computer based neural network modeling of seizure activity using EEG and MEG signals.
